![]() ![]() He gains the means to defend it by actually being allowed to cast his other abilities without going OOM in three seconds. Heimer still gets to be a powerhouse in his turret nest, but he actually needs to position his nest safely and defend it from attack. Make his turrets the mana sink, so every time you take out a turret, you know that you accomplished something important. ![]() My suggestion is to flip the mana costs on his turrets and his abilities. that's supposed to be his strength), there needs to be way to actually eliminate the turrets. (It also means that attacking the turrets is a guaranteed mana advantage for Heimer if you use any mana to eliminate the turrets at all.) Since fighting Heimer in his turrets is suicide (which is fine. This constraint is not game-breaking by itself, but combined with the fact that the turrets essentially have no long-term cost (i.e., mana), Heimer is guaranteed to win any extended trade. If at any time you have to lay off the pressure, he quickly regains his turret control at no long-term cost. This is all from the moment that he places a turret on the ground. This means you have 20s to work into a position where you can do something safely, eliminate the turrets, wait for your abilities to come back off rotation so you can make an aggressive play on Heimer, and actually find an opportunity to make said aggressive play. Since the cooldown essentially starts as soon as he places a turret, you get like 20s between him placing a turret and when he can replace it. His turrets are essentially free with the constraint being the storage cooldown. ![]() This means that there is never any real point to eliminating his turrets since he will always be able to construct new ones by the time your ability rotation comes back up. My main issue with Heimerdinger is that his turrets cost 20 mana. I've even read that you can buy the AP jungle item in order to kill easily the turrets plus farm the jungle camps, but again, can you do this in Top lane?ĮDIT: Oh god, I have forgotten to mention how incredibly EASY you can do the Baron Nashor with the donger The point here is that he is being played (plat 3 elo) at TOP lane where all these picks, well, you know. What are your experiences against him?ĮDIT: You are saying lots of champs to counter him such as ziggs, Leblanc, Syndra or Velkoz. You can try do 100-0 him but once he notices he is in danger he will ult the turret which deals almost a quarter of heath per beam ( i don't know how is it called that thing that periodically is shot), in AoE plus the constant AA of the turret which also deal a hell of dmg. He stays at top all damn game and when he gets hourglass get ready for the nightmare. I still havent got the oppurtinity to face him in lane but I've play several games against Heimer top in enemy team where he is able to set the army of turrets and be able to 1v2 the enmy jungler and top since minute 1. ![]()
